Template:Place Spearfish Falls is a location in The Faces of Evil. It is unlocked after completing Crater Cove.

Features and Overview

Spearfish Falls is a large and heavily forested waterfall in eastern Koridai. The waterfall flows down from the Face of Militron, and empties into the coastal seas close to Crater Cove. The area is inhabited by large numbers of Spearfish, from which the waterfall gets its name. It is also the location of Koridai's Fairy Fountain, where a pair of Fairies live.

Immediately to the left in the first area is Crater Cove's volcano, where Link enters the region. Goriyas patrol the platforms of the falls' rocky coast. A small Raft near the volcano takes Link inside a flooded cave tunnel, where more Goriyas and Keese attack him. A small waterfall at the end continuously floods the tunnel, and beyond it is an opening blocked by a boulder, which is destroyed with 10 Bombs. This opening leads out to the region's main waterfall, where water from high above cascades down the mountain's slippery rocks. Flying Spearfish appear here constantly to attack Link. Link must climb the mountain side by jumping on rocks and using the few ladders provided. At the very top of this section is a small wooded grove, where the region's Fairy Fountain stands. The Fairies inside proclaim Link as their hero, and gives him a Life Heart and Water of Life. If Link has a Canteen, they will refill it for him as well.

The next section is another climb up the waterfall, again inhabited by flying Spearfish. Near the top of the side is a small blue bridge leading to a dark cave entrance. Here a Gleeok guarding a horde of treasure is found. After it is defeated, it drops the Necklace, which was stolen from Alora of Toyku Lighthouse. Further up the mountain is a locked door to another cave, with its Key sitting on a nearby ledge. The Crone lives inside this cave, who asks Link to bring her some Grapple Berries for a trick. She uses the berries to make Link the Power Glove. A Triforce Map in the cave takes Link back to the world map. After the stage is completed, Serigon Caves opens as a new stage.
