The Samasa Desert is a desert where the Piratians were trapped in Oracle of Seasons. It can be reached from the Eastern Coast. Link can gain entry after talking to the skull pirate's captain by pushing the second door from the right twice, then pushing the second door from the left once, then the first door on the left twice, and the rightmost door three times.

This will cause the gate to open. In the desert, watch out for cacti, quicksand, and the Leevers. There are also moving cacti called Pokeys here. It is the home of the Rusty Bell.

The desert is one of the few areas of Holodrum which has no season stumps and seemingly remains in the same season at all times.
