The Ranch is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.(BotW)[1] The Ranch goes unnamed in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
The Ranch was located outside of Mabe Village in Hyrule Field. It resembled the Lon Lon Ranch in shape, but any connection between the two is unknown. Like the nearby Mabe Village, the Ranch was attacked in the Great Calamity one hundred years prior to Link's awakening following his Slumber of Restoration. Its residents are not thought to have survived due to its proximity to Hyrule Castle, though any that may have escaped would have crossed the Horwell Bridge and passed through the Dueling Peaks to the southeast to reach Fort Hateno under the direction of Hyrule Kingdom's Soldiers.[1] Prior to its destruction, it was likely used as a training ground for Horses.[2]
Other Appearances
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
In Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, the Ranch is located in Hyrule Field, south of Hyrule Castle and next to Mabe Village. It is modeled after the appearance of Lon Lon Ranch in Ocarina of Time. The Ranch can be visited during "The Battle of Hyrule Field" Scenario.
