There is a certain group of fans that believe that Malon is the girl Link will eventually marry, as almost every other girl Link knows turns out to be either a [[Sage]] or an [[Oracle]]. Certainly, in the manga of OoT, Malon seems to be attracted to Link when he comes to free the ranch from Ingo. However, in the manga, Link also seems to have a relationship with [[Princess Zelda]]. This relationship is toned down considerably in the game, but Malon's attraction to Link is not easily seeable either. Given the final scene of both the manga and game, at the end of the credits, it is more likely that Link will have a relationship with Zelda, but is not definite.
