Not to be confused with the Sacred Realm or Temple of Light.

Template:Place The Light World,[1] or World of Light,[2] is a location present in all Zelda games.

Features

The term "Light World" is used to describe all lands opposite of the Dark World, Twilight Realm, and Silent Realm such as Hyrule, Holodrum, Labrynna, Skyloft and other lands. As its name suggests, it is a land that basks in the light of day, as opposed to the Dark World (which receives little light), or Twilight Realm (light similar to that of the sunset). In Twilight Princess for example, Hyrule is the Light World whereas the Twilight Realm is the opposing land which has very little sunlight.

The Light World is often populated by several peaceful races, often under the rule of the Royal Family of Hyrule, though many races have adopted smaller forms of communal government.
