The Light World, or the World of Light, was created by the Golden Goddesses Din, Farore, and Nayru as a parallel dimension to the Sacred Realm. It's landscape is often similar to other parallel dimensions such as the Dark World, however the Light World is often "lighter" and more peaceful than these other lands.

The name "Light World" applies to lands such as Hyrule, Holodrum, Labrynna, and Skyloft. As its name suggests, it is a land that is covered in light and beauty, as opposed to the Dark World, which is cloaked in shadow, or Twilight Realm, which is bathed in the light of eternal twilight. The Light World's name was created in Template:ALTTP as an obvious opposite to the Dark World.
