(I don't think Ingo or the others were specifically based on him. There are no name similarities, and no artwork of the Cucco Keeper to determine that.)

Template:Character The {{{2}}} is a character in Link's Awakening.

Biography

The Cucco Keeper lives on top of Tal Tal Heights, where he breeds Cuccos. He is the one who tells Link about the Flying Roosters.[1] After Link completes the Eagle's Tower, the Flying Rooster makes its new home in the Cucco Keeper's Hen House where it gives him some flights.[2]

It is likely that the Cucco Keeper intentionally resembles Luigi as one of the many references to the Super Mario Bros. games in Link's Awakening.[3]
