Hanyu Forest (pronounced /hʌnˈjuː/ hun-YOO)[1] is location in The Wand of Gamelon.[2] It is unlocked after Washubi Swamp is completed.

Features and Overview

Hanyu Forest is a large forest in the southwest area of Gamelon, part of the dense woodlands that circle around Shutoy Lake. It is a thick yet well lit Forest, as sunlight peeks through the leafy canopies supported by the Forest's many trees. The Forest is heavily infested by Bots and Gargoyles, whose green coloring easily allows them to blend in the foliage. The forest floor is uneven with several pits, requiring that Zelda climb to the tree branches to use as platforms, which can be reached by rope tied to the boughs.

The first section of the Forest features a hollowed tree at its end, which leads into the next area as a detour. Here the Hanyu Spore that Grimbo of Washubi Swamp requests can be found.[1] At the end of this section is Myra, who asks Zelda if she has any Arpagos Feathers.[3] Zelda can give her one which she combines with the Shroud to turn it into the Magic Cape.[4] A Triforce Map sits at the end of the Forest. After the stage is completed, the Fairy Pool is unlocked.
