A Goddess Wall is a sacred image that is featured in Skyward Sword. It can be drawn on with Link's sword after performing a Skyward Strike to generate various items. Link can create shapes with only one stroke.

Appearance

Goddess Walls are invisible at first, and can only be found by playing the Goddess Harp near a wall where three Blessed Butterflies are congregating. Once revealed, a Goddess Wall appears as an ornately carved indigo rectangle, with the Goddess Crest in its center.

Features

After charging a Skyward Strike, Link is able to draw on the Goddess Wall with his sword. Depending on the shape Link draws, the wall will release a different reward. Once used, a Goddess Wall goes inactive until the player quits and restarts the game.

Gorko

After obtaining Farore's Courage, Gorko will ask Link to draw shapes on a Goddess Wall in the Sealed Grounds. If Link does this successfully, he will be awarded with a Piece of Heart. Once he draws all the shapes, he will receive a gold rupee. In all other cases, Gorko will give the young hero a red rupee or some treasure.
