Template:Boss Twilit Ice Mass: Blizzeta is the boss of Snowpeak Ruins, the fifth dungeon in Twilight Princess. The boss is actually Yeta, who leads Link to the second shard of the Twilight Mirror which she holds. She becomes possessed by the Mirror Shard and screams at Link that he cannot have it.[1] The windows of the bedroom then shatter, letting the snow and ice to pour in, surrounding and encapsulating Yeta.

Strategy

Blizzeta has two main forms during the battle. During her first form, she spins around the chamber. The Ball and Chain must be used to chip away at the layers surrounding her until barely anything is left. Afterwards, she encases herself within another ice barrier and rises into the air, summoning huge ice spikes around her, which hover over Link in an attempt to impale him. After they fall, Link can break them with the Ball and Chain, releasing recovery Hearts at times. They can also form a circle around Link in order to trap him for Blizzeta's attack. When she falls, Link can attack her with the Ball and Chain as well. Link can use the reflection on the ice floor to see where Blizzeta and her ice spikes will fall.

By attacking Blizzeta three times, she will be defeated. After the fight, Yeta's husband, Yeto, appears and embraces her, releasing Hearts and a Heart Container.

Etymology

Blizzeta's name is a portmanteau of "blizzard" and "Yeta."
