Lenzo's Studio is a location in The Wind Waker.[note 1]

Features and Overview

Lenzo's Pictography Shop is located in a red brick building in the upper area of Windfall Island with a large model Picto Box above its door. It is where the Pictographer, Lenzo spends most of his time after having settled on the island. Inside is a counter and shelves strewn with various Picto Boxes, parts, and bottles of colored liquid. Behind the counter is a stairway to an upper floor. Weary from having one of his Picto Boxes stolen,[2] Lenzo stands in the way of getting behind the counter and will shoo Link away when he approaches.[3] Once Link returns with the Picto Box recovered from a hidden room in the Town Jail, Lenzo begins to trust the young hero and welcomes him inside,[4] returning to behind the counter.

The upper floor of Lenzo's Pictography Shop features a gallery of Lenzo's most prized Pictographs. When Link views one up close, Lenzo will instantly appear behind him and describe its subject and story.[5][6] Pictographs of the following subjects can be seen, from left to right:

  1. Nayru's statue on Southern Triangle Island (before receiving Nayru's Pearl.[7]
  2. The Forsaken Fortress.[8]
  3. A group of five ChuChus.[9]
  4. The cabana on the Private Oasis.[10]
  5. Tingle Tower.[11]
  6. The east side of Outset Island, including Aryll's Lookout.[12]
  7. The Ghost Ship.[13]

The upper floor also features a barricaded section with two Treasure Chests, containing a Treasure Chart and a Purple Rupee. Link can enter this part of the room from a patio door above the studio's main entrance, accessible by leaping from the Windfall Island windmill and floating with the Deku Leaf. In between the Treasure Chests is a small opening in the wall, leading to a crawlspace that exits at the bottom of the staircase. If Link takes this route into the studio, he can sneak up behind Lenzo as he chats with Minenco.[14][15]
