Deluxe Picto Box
The Deluxe Picto Box is an Item in The Wind Waker.[1]
Location and Uses
The Deluxe Picto Box is an upgraded version of the original Picto Box which allows Link to take Pictographs in full color. Following the completion of Lenzo's Research Assistant quest, Link can bring a Forest Firefly caught from the Forest Haven to Lenzo, who imbues the Picto Box with the Firefly's mystical light.[2]
The Deluxe Picto Box is necessary to complete the Nintendo Gallery since the sculptor, Carlov, only accepts color Pictographs. It is also needed for a handful of other side-quests.[which?] When playing the Second Quest, Link begins his adventure with the Deluxe Picto Box already in his Inventory, along with any stored Pictographs carried over from the previous quest.
In The Wind Waker HD, the Deluxe Picto Box is given to Link by Lenzo upon completing the Research Assistant quest; a Forest Firefly is no longer required.[3][4] When viewing Link's saved Pictographs, any that are suitable for making a Figurine are now marked with an icon of Carlov's face.
