The Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda is a Game & Watch system released to celebrate the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series. The size and shape of the unit is similar to a original Game & Watch Wide Screen Model, but with the addition of a cross-shaped d-pad like the one featured in the Zelda Game & Watch and a Full-Color LCD Screen.

Overview

The Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda system was announced during the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct.[3] The system includes three games from The Legend of Zelda series: the NES version of The Legend of Zelda, the Famicom version of The Adventure of Link, and the original Link's Awakening from the Game Boy. The game also includes a remake of the Game & Watch game, Vermin, with Link as the playable character instead of Mr. Game & Watch.[4] The game also has a playable clock and interactive timer built into the games, with the clock being themed after The Legend of Zelda and the timer being themed off of The Adventure of Link.[5]
