Humans are rarely specifically mentioned in the series, but are nonetheless part of the Zelda Universe. They seem biologically close to the Hylians (merely have rounded ears where Hylians have pointed ears), and often live with them in the same towns. They are the majority race in Holodrum and Labrynna, and a province of Hyrule, Ordona, is mostly peopled with humans. Humans never have shown a strong interest in magic like some of the other humanoid races in the Zelda Universe. Where they originated is unknown.
