Wooden Sword
The Wooden Sword is a recurring Sword in Template:LZS.
Appearances
The Legend of Zelda
In The Legend of Zelda, the wooden Sword is found at the cave in the starting area, given to him by an Old Man. Link can use the Sword until he obtains either the White Sword or Magical Sword, which are more powerful. It is brown, suggesting a wood or bronze make.
Oracle Series
In the Oracle games, the Wooden Sword is the first weapon obtained. In Oracle of Ages, Impa gives it to Link. In Oracle of Seasons it is obtained inside the Hero's Cave on the Western Coast.[1]
Twilight Princess
In Twilight Princess, the Wooden Sword is received from Rusl as a present. Link learns the basic Sword fighting skills with it. He keeps the Sword until after rescuing Talo. Link eventually gives the Sword to him so he and Colin can get past them to where Ilia is holding Epona.
Later on, Link comes across the Wooden Sword when looking for the children as a Wolf. By smelling the Sword, he is able to pick up the Youths' Scent.
Other Appearances
Hyrule Warriors
Template:Sectstub In Hyrule Warriors, an 8-bit Wooden Sword from The Legend of Zelda appears as a weapon for Link. It is statistically identical to the Magical Sword.
