Cucco
The cucco features in many Zelda games, from A Link to the Past to Majora's Mask. They are white chickens which peck delightfully and flutter around without a care in the world. When provoked or attacked with a sword (or any weapon, for that matter), it will screech and summon more cuccos to attack you back; they can even kill you if you are not careful. This is sometimes known as the Cuccos Revenge Squad. When placed above the head when jumping off something, Link can jump a lot further as he uses the cucco as a glider. This technique is known as chicken gliding.
