Zora Cape is a place in Majora's Mask. Located due south of the Great Bay Coast, it encompasses several notable landmarks such as Zora Hall, a Fairy's Fountain, and the Waterfall Rapids. It also serves as the transit point for Link in traversing between the Great Bay region and its associated temple.

Features

Overview

The Zora Cape is located through a small cave at the southern end of the Great Bay Coast. It is comparatively more constricted in area, but still contains several noteworthy features.

There is a Piece of Heart found within a deep whirlpool at the base of the waterfall in the southernmost extent of the cape. As a Zora, Link must submerge himself into the water and dive down to the bed of the pool, avoiding the skullfish serving to obstruct his descent. A Like Like situated in the center must be killed in order to reveal the Piece of Heart.

Zora Game Site

Main article: Zora Game Site

The Zora Game Site is located on the shore near the entrance to Great Bay Coast. Two Zora host a unique pot-breaking game here where Link can earn Rupees.

Waterfall Rapids

Main article: Waterfall Rapids

The Waterfall Rapids can be accessed by utilizing several palm trees that act as Hookshot targets running up the stream from the south. These trees grow from higher and higher elevations, eventually leading Link to a small enclave above the waterfall. Inside, the Beaver Brothers will challenge Zora Link to a race from which he can win an Empty Bottle, among other prizes.

Zora Hall

Main article: Zora Hall

The Zora Hall is first seen protruding out of the ocean just off the coast of the cape. It serves as the primary habitat for the Zora race in Termina.

Behind the Zora Hall, there is a small peninsula where Lulu can be seen standing idly until she recovers her voice. Once Link has rescued the seven Zora Eggs and learns the New Wave Bossa Nova, he plays the newly learned melody in Zora form before the Zora singer. Lulu regains her voice, consequently awakening a giant Turtle who had previously appeared only as a small islet adjacent to the peninsula. After a brief introduction, he offers Link his services a means of conveyence to Great Bay Temple.
