Amy
Amy[1] is the one of the four Poe Sisters that Link meets in the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time, and likewise in Majora's Mask, in the Ikana Canyon region.
Appearances
Ocarina of Time
Amy is the third Poe Link encounters in the Forest Temple, and she and her fourth sister, Meg, are significant in their unique approach when it comes to testing Link's problem-solving abilities. In her room is a giant picture of herself. As with the previous Poe Sisters, Link must shoot the picture with his bow; this time, the picture burns and a five-block puzzle drops from its suspension in the ceiling. Every block except one has a section of the picture that Link just destroyed, and to complete the puzzle, Link must recreate the picture of Amy using the scrambled blocks allotted. The puzzle is timed, and in the event that Link takes too long, the puzzle and timer will reset. However, Link will receive a time extension within which to complete the puzzle. Once the picture is recreated, Amy will finally reveal herself. If Link targets the Poe, she will disappear and reappear, spinning towards Link, flaming torch in hand. Although a rudimentary sword/shield approach never fails, the easiest and most life-conscious way to defeat this Poe Sister is to snipe her from afar with the bow. After five hits, she will vanish in a puff of smoke, and a green-flamed torch in the main room of the temple will ignite.
Majora's Mask
Amy makes a cameo appearance at Ikana Canyon in Majora's Mask as a function of a small in-game event; Link can battle all four of the Poe Sisters to earn a Piece of Heart in the Spirit House for 30 Rupees. Here, Tatl identifies Amy as the youngest of the Poe sisters.[2]
Oracle of Seasons
In Oracle of Seasons, Amy, along with Margaret, serves as the mini-boss of the Explorer's Crypt. Amy wields a sword while charging at Link. Each of the sisters is first seen in rooms that gradually darken, eventually casting Link back to the dungeon entrance if he is too slow to flee the room. They then appear in rooms next to the room they darken, where Link fights one of them. Finally, they fight together, forcing Link to not only attack them, but also to relight the lamps they extinguish, lest he be expelled back to the dungeon entrance.
