Kafei's Mask
Kafei's Mask is a mask found in Majora's Mask. It is given to Link by Madame Aroma.
Location
Link must visit the Mayor's Residence on the morning of the First Day and go into Madame Aroma's Office.[1] Upon his arrival, Madame Aroma will assume Link is the professional she hired to find Kafei.[2] She asks if he will accept the assignment and if the young hero answers "Yes", she'll give him Kafei's Mask to begin his search.[3]
Uses
The mask is used to help gather information about the missing person, Kafei.[4] It is vital part to start the process of reuniting Kafei and Anju, but aside from that it serves no real purpose.
According to a Gossip Stone, the mask was handmade by Madame Aroma herself.[5]
Trivia
This is one of the few duplicated masks in the game, as Anju also has it. The other masks with this characteristic are the Keaton Mask, which each of the Bombers claim to have as well, Romani's Mask, which owned by all customers of Latte, the Garo's Mask, which both Gorman Brothers own, and the Couple's Mask, which is a symbol of marriage.[6][7]
