Argorok is the boss of the City in the Sky, Twilight Princess's seventh dungeon. Argorok is an armored, fire-breathing dragon that is sighted throughout the level and destroys certain bridges to try to hinder progress in the dungeon.

Strategy

To defeat Argorok, use your Double Clawshot to climb up the pillars until you are close enough to the dragon so that the clawshot will register a latch point on the tail end of the dragon. Once you have latched to it and you are hanging there, put on your Iron Boots and the dragon will fall to the ground, due to the overwhelming weight of the boots themselves. Once the dragon strikes the ground, the force of the impact will knock loose some of the armor it is wearing. After more strikes, Argorok will violently shake and get rid of any remaining armor he may still be wearing. Argorok will then begin to change battle strategy.

Using the Double Clawshot, Link must make his way to the top of any pillar, then use the clawshot on a nearby peahat, a spinning animal which hovers in the sky. (The peahats are activated after Argorok rids itself of the armor.) The key is to keep switching from peahat to peahat in order to avoid damage from Argorok's fire blasts, which will threaten to erase 8 hearts if Link happens to be wearing the Zora Armor. (Hint: Don't wear Zora Armor.) After Argorok's fire rampage, he will stop to rest for a moment. This gives Link a chance to strafe to his backside. Using Link's clawshot as a latch, target the recharging beast's back, where a glowing jewel is located. Link will jump to Argoroks back, where he can administer sword strikes. (Or the Critical Point). After taking damage, Argorok will fly back into the air a second time. After repeating this technique three times, Argorok will finally admit defeat by falling to his death.

During the third attack, it is also possible to kill Argorok using the Ending Blow, which lets Link impale the dragon with slightly more force. The final Mirror Shard and a Heart Container are Link's prizes for the destruction of Argorok.
