Cucco
The cucco features in many Zelda games, from A Link to the Past to Majora's Mask. They are white chickens which peck delightfully and flutter around without a care in the world. When provoked or attacked with a sword (or any weapon, for that matter), it will screech and summon more cuccos to attack you back; they can even kill you if you are not careful. When placed above the head when jumping off something, Link can jump a lot further as he uses the cucco as a degravitiser.
