Template:Character In Majora's Mask, Mayor Dotour is the Mayor of Clock Town and mayor of Termina. He is also one of the few Majora's Mask characters who has no Ocarina of Time counterpart.

During the horrible three days Link is in Termina he is unsure what to do, think or feel. He is terrified of the Moon and is terrified of what will happen to his people. He must decide between either evacuating the city or letting the festival go on as planned, and his overpowering wife doesn't help either. Each day he is in his office listening to Mutoh and Captain Viscen argue over whether to cancel the carnival or keep it on schedule. His son, Kafei has been missing for some time. Helping Kafei is another one of Link's side-quests. Although it was difficult, Link was able to obtain and use the Couple's Mask to relieve the Mayor's stress and have him think clearly again.[1]

The Mayor also seems to be one of the few characters with some idea as to his son's whereabouts. If Link talks to him wearing the Kafei mask (after using the Couple's Mask), then he will tell Link to ask at the Curiosity Shop.[2] This could either mean that he knows Kafei is there or that he knows of the owner's friendship with Kafei. He also tells Link that the owner of the shop is a bad influence on him.[2]

As a child, one of Mayor Dotour's schoolteachers was Anju's Grandmother.[3].
