Baito is the name of the Postman found on Dragon Roost Island in The Wind Waker. Many believe that Baito could possibly be a Sheikah due to the tattoo on his back.

The first meeting with Baito is while he is trying to apply for the Letter Sorting job. He is eventually hired at the Island Postal Service after Koboli was impressed by Link's contribution to sorting mail. In addition to his regular duties, he will allow Link to sort letters as a mini-game. If 25 letters or more are sorted, Baito will ask Link to put a letter in the mail to his mother talking about how great Link is. Later, Link will receive a reply from Baito's mother with a Piece of Heart inside. Due to Link's impressive mail-sorting abilities, Baito will compliment Link and praise him with any opportunity he gets.
