Ice Cavern (Ocarina of Time)

The Ice Cavern is a frozen cave off of Zora's Fountain. Link finds Zora's Domain frozen and the Zora's encased in a mysterious Red Ice. Link finds Jabu Jabu missing from the fountain and an opening across the water, with a path of ice blocks leading the way.

Inside, Link finds Blue Fire, an unnaturally occuring fire only found within the cavern. Blue Fire melts Red Ice, so Link uses bottles to carry the fire and melt Red Ice throughout the cavern, as well as the frozen King Zora.

Link finds the Iron Boots in the Cavern after defeating a White Wolfos. Sheik appears in the cavern to tell him about the Zoras, as well as telling Link he thawed Princess Ruto, who headed to the Water Temple underneath Lake Hylia. Shiek teaches Link the Serenade of Water inside the cavern, the warping song of the Water Temple.

The Ice Cavern was originally going to be the Ice Temple, but it was removed from the game.

The Ice Cavern is normally a hot spring.
