The Faron Woods is an area featured in Twilight Princess. The woods are connected to Link's home village of Ordon, Link first enters Faron woods while looking for Talo who ran off chasing a monkey, the next time he enters faron woods however it is covered in a twilight, this is when Link is turned into a wolf for the first time and also the start of his adventure. after which he must restore light back to the forest and complete the first temple the Forest Temple. After getting all three shards Link will be turned into a wolf and the only way for him is to get the Master Sword which is located in the sacred grove inside faron woods, after this incient Link must come back later to go to the temple of time, which is where the Master Sword was to complete yet another dungeon, the Temple of Time. after tis however it is optional to ever come back.
Places
Located deep within the woods is the Forest Temple, which is home to many monkeys. It is also home to the Sacred Grove, which is located west (or east in the Wii version) of the Forest Temple. The Sacred Grove is home to the legendary blade, the Master Sword and the entrance to the Temple of Time. The guardian of Faron Woods is Faron, the light spirit.
