In the Link's Awakening manga by Ataru Cagiva, according to the Owl, once the power of the eight Instruments of the Sirens is combined, the mystery of the Wind Fish will be solved. Therefore, Link must find the scattered Instruments throughout Koholint Island in order to leave. Once collected, Link plays the "Ballad of the Wind Fish" on the Ocarina in order to activate their power, causing the Wind Fish's Egg to crack open.

Hyrule Warriors

In Hyrule Warriors, the Sea Lily Bell appears as the Lv. 1 tier of Marin's Bell Weapon.

In Hyrule Warriors Legends and Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, the eight Instruments of the Sirens also appear as Item Cards in the Koholint Island Map of Adventure Mode, which is included in the Link's Awakening Pack DLC in Hyrule Warriors Legends. Each Instrument can dispel Nightmares, increase the Egg Counter by one and activate a Siren Power that assists Warriors. The Full Moon Cello gives Warriors a maxed out Special Attack Gauge. Notes

  1. The Instruments of the Sirens are referred to as the Sirens' Musical Instruments and the Nightmares' Instruments in the manual for Link's Awakening DX and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening—Nintendo Player's Guide by Nintendo of America, respectively.[2][3] However, as these contradict the name given in Encyclopedia, they are not considered Canon.
