No. Otherwise there would be four Links. [[User:MHNinja478|MHNinja478]] ([[User talk:MHNinja478|talk]]) 09:36, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

It was probably in the graveyard because it was embedded in ganon's head, but he was buried in the graveyard, by his descendants, maybe. It's a theory, but if it was found in the graveyard, it might have also belonged to a magic swordsman of that time, hence the "magical" in the name.

I disagree that the sword that the Hero's Spirit wields is the Magical Sword. Look at this pic here:

http://wiimedia.ign.com/wii/image/article/744/744044/the-legend-of-zelda-twilight-princess-20061103051519836.jpg Now compare it any of the official pics of the Magical Sword, and note that it doesn't match any of them. Is it all right if I remove that part of the article? Dinosaur bob 15:46, 7 October 2007 (EDT)

--- Well I change it a little so that you both can be right a little, you can undo it if you want.

Could the Four Sword be the Magical sword?

Why at the bottom does it link to swords of twilight princess

Ya why? wouldn't that mean that the magical sword is in Twilight Princess? Also the link under that goes to another website completely....and it doesn't even link to the magical sword it goes to something saying Magical sword- see master sword.--Remo 15:19, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Did you read it? It says "See Also", meaning if you want more info on swords in the Legend of Zelda, look here. In other words, it's showing you different swords if you're interested. User:Seablue254/sig 15:22, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Try reading the article. This why it likes to Swords of Twilight Princess:
"Although in the The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess a similar looking sword is wielded by the Hero's Spirit, while Link has the Master Sword."
That is why.User:Matt/sig 15:49, August 11, 2008 (UTC)

no seablue I mean...in all the other sword articles it only links to another game that that specific sword has been in..and yes Matt I know thats what people say about the spirit's sword but should it really be linked because of that, I mean I get ripped on all the time for my theories so isn't that another one that should be...well not ripped on but taken off?--Remo 21:15, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

That is a good point. But I have got a great solution. I'll work on it. Give me a minute.User:Matt/sig 17:44, August 11, 2008 (UTC)

Pictures

Since the most recent picture of magic sword is from Soul Calibur II, does anyone have an image? I believe it would be boost for this article --Magnus orion 05:21, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

References

Where'd he reference link go? It disappeared with this edit. Are the seealso tags interfering with the reference tags? Jimbo Jambo 21:39, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

aaauuuuughhhhh
Good catch there. Turns out that the <seealso></seealso> coding messes with references -- if that code appears anywhere between a reference and the actual <references /> code, it screws up the references so nothing displays. We just recently discovered that this issue exists with <gallery></gallery> as well. I've set the section back to the standard format to fix the issue. User:Ando/sig 21:55, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
It looks like the issue is still a problem, for they are still missing... User:Austin/sig 01:11, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
Fixed. Don't forget to use the <ref></ref> tags. Jimbo Jambo 02:58, 29 January 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Master Sword debate

Sorry to drag this debate up yet again, but I was going over that set of pics that, IIRC, is from one of the guides to ALttP, showing various scenes from the first two Zelda titles.

Now, given it's generally thought that the sword Link uses in AoL is the same Magical Sword he got in LoZ, I find it interesting that in this pic of Link dueling his Shadow, the final boss fight of AoL: http://zeldawiki.org/images/1/19/Darklink1.jpg The sword both Link and Dark Link wield bears an uncanny resemblance to the Master Sword, as seen in ALttP. Not saying this is a slam dunk or anything, just something that may or may not need to be mentioned in the article- last time I checked, this was considered to be an official image, right? Just checking to make sure this is worth putting in the Theories section as further possible evidence, since I'm habitually nervous about putting in something without making sure it's okay to do so. Dinosaur bob 01:18, 22 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

i have an idea since the skyward turns into the master sword then maybe the master sword transformed into the magic sword i mean it could be possible--TheFalconlazer 18:03, 14 February 2011 (EST)

You're right, in that image it looks just like the Master Sword, but also the shield is actually LttP's shield, so I think whoever did this image (I think it was in a strategy guide, right?) just used LttP as a base, so it shouldn't be considered.
Another interesting image is this one, probably by the same artist:
http://www.zeldawiki.org/images/f/f0/LoZ_Ganon_Trident.jpg
I think it was from a guide about the first Zelda, but Ganon has the Trident, so he used LttP as a base also here. It may actually be from LttP's guide, I don't really know, but still it means he used to draw for that game.--Kombatgod 08:02, 15 February 2011 (EST)

The Master Sword is known to change appearances throughout the life of the series, and while it is true that it's basic look is the same in the games that it is definitely the Master Sword, it doesn't mean that it didnt' change appearance again sometime before the original LoZ. Now, I'm not (yet) and expert on the Zelda Timeline theories, but is there one that states that ALttP is before original LoZ? If it is, perhaps what is called the "Golden Sword" in ALttP is now the Magical Sword in LoZ. While I know that they don't look alike, I think it is a possibility because the sword is known to change appearance. Just a thought. Vyselink 20:05, 8 March 2011 (EST)

Well, it sure is a possibility, also the Magical Sword and the Master Sword do are the same gameplay-wise, specially in OoX, where I think they wanted to include the Magical Sword, but just renamed it Master Sword. So it's ok with having it in the theories section, I just wanted to say that that image cannot be considered an evidence, so it can't be said for sure.--Kombatgod 06:49, 9 March 2011 (EST)
