The term Deku refers to everything that belongs to the Forestish Deku culture. The Great Deku Tree is the being from which the name is spawned. Other Dekus include Deku Scrubs, Deku Sticks, Deku Shield, Deku Nuts, Deku Seeds, Deku Baba and the Deku Tree Sprout.

The "Boko" culture seems to have emerged in TWW. Some sort of rival tribe, perhaps? No "Boko Tree" has yet been seen, but Boko Sticks, Boko Babas and Boko Baba Pods have. The Bokoblin, famous for weilding Boko Sticks has also been influenced by the "Bokos". Perhaps in the future we will we see "Boko Scrubs"?

In the Oracle Series, we also meet a being called the Maku Tree. Could it be a third tribe, the "Makus"?
