Template:Object The Deku Flower appears in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. In Ocarina of Time, it serves no purpose except as places Deku Scrubs can hide if Link gets too close to them.

Deku Link using a Deku Flower.

In Majora's Mask, it can be used while Link is wearing the Deku Mask, and allows Deku Link to fly around using two flower-helicopters. This effect is only temporary; after some time Deku Link stalls and falls. There are two different types of Deku Flowers; pink (the normal) and yellow. Yellow flowers allow Link to go further and higher than the pink, and are usually inhabited by Business Scrubs.

The Deku Flower plays a important role in various Temples (especially the Woodfall Temple) and is used in-game to reach places that often hold items such as heart pieces. It is also very important in the Deku Scrub Playground, where Link can play a mini-game based entirely on using the Deku Flower, in this case to get from platform to platform.
