ALTTP

Removed their appearance in aLttP as thats not official (I think theyre called squirrels or something). Template:Nosig

Is it worth adding a not in the Trivia section linking to Deadrock, acknowledging this uncertainty? User:Adam/sig 10:49, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Bombs

Edited to change the OoT referance to harvest bombs as opposed to make bombs, as it is clearly stated in the game that while the stone is blocking Dodongo's Cavern, they can't harvest the bomb crop. Template:Nosig

If I recall correctlly, Weren't there Bonb Flowers on the Mountain? (The Goron said he needed to provide shade or they would explode in the sun during day...) ~Moshata, The Mistress~ 15:42, 28 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I don't think it was ever stated exactly why bomb flowers need shade, but yes, there is at least one bomb flower on Death Mountain Trail. As to the Gorons harvesting vs. manufacturing them, assuming Anon is right, it would seem that bomb flowers are used to make bombs, but it's pretty easy to see that bombs aren't just raw bomb flowers picked and stuffed into a bag, so it's probably a mix of both. Oracle games?

Weren't there gorons in Oracles games? I played OoA, and I remember seeing them in it. Template:Nosig

Yes, there were. We should get some info up on them. Dinosaur bob 19:04, 6 October 2007 (EDT)

TWW

I'm not sure what else can be said about the Goron's in TWW. More could be said about that Island Trading Sequence, and Zurani's shop... but we have pages for those, and to go into detail about it here would be getting a little off topic and redundant, would it not? Basically, I'm asking is TWW section still in need of expansion? User:Light Knight/sig 04:32, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

We can summarize the Island trading sequence in a sub section and include a main article link.User:Matt/sig 04:39, November 11, 2008 (UTC)
Pretty much what I was thinking if it were determined that anything needed to be added. Just a little "hey, there's a sidequest!" blurb. That's about all I could see added. User:Ando/sig 04:43, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, that would be good. I don't think TWW article is really in need of anything but, I haven't looked at it lately so....User:Mandi/sig 05:47, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Could we maybe merge the Traveling Merchants page with it, or get rid of the Traveling Merchants page? User:Light Knight/sig 17:06, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Definite merge.User:Matt/sig 17:07, November 11, 2008 (UTC)

Merging would clear some room on the Goron page. I agree with the merge.--HeroOfTheWinds10 15:59, 25 November 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Further: I find the sectstub template could be taken off tWW section. Unless more is to be said... but really, to go any further with it would be stepping in the island trading sequence and Zurani, and not Gorons.Template:Nosig

I'm sure it can still be expanded. Leaving the sectstub template will encourage expansion.User:Matt/sig 17:44, November 25, 2008 (UTC)

One last thing

Ok, I've butchered the bulk of the redundancies here, and not because I enjoy that sorta thing either. This is the closest thing we have to a new Featured Article and you guys did an excellent job getting it all together. I'm going to change my vote as soon as we can get some subsections within each game. It's a massive read and breaking it up would serve it well.User:Axiomist/sig 06:17, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

I don't mind subsections myself, but the others should have their say too. Yep, it makes me proud to help work on this. The Goron Moron 07:20, 24 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

FSA

Should the Gorons from FSA be included, as well? Or is there a good reason as to why they're not in this article? Dany36 22:31, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

No, they should be added. I guess no one has really cared to do it, that's all. Feel free to go ahead if you want to. Alter  {T C B H } 00:46, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Alright, I'll try and do as much as I can, but I can barely recall their role on the game since I haven't played it in a while... I might need some help on this! Dany36 02:20, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
As much as I would love to help on the FSA section of the Gorons, I cannot because I do not own a copy of FSA and I don't think I will ever find a copy. Sorry. The Goron Moron 02:40, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's fine, TGM, thanks anyway. :D Tomorrow I'll play the Goron sections in FSA and try to write down as much info about them as I can. Dany36 03:04, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Well, I added the Gorons of FSA, but they appear only once in the game so there's not that much that could have been written about them. Could someone add a picture of them in the FSA section? Dany36 17:51, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I'll try to dig one up. Good job, by the way. :) Alter  {T C B H } 19:06, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I wasn't able to find one anywhere. Perhaps someone else will have to take a SS. Alter  {T C B H } 19:29, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Listing

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to have a listing of the well known Gorons that are in the various Zelda Games? I was considering adding it, but because it is a featured article, I don't want to mess with it unless others think it is necessary. There are about a 15-20 or so important Gorons throughout the series. Gorons that can be identified by name. In just Twilight Princess alone I can think of 6 off the top of my head.Mases 16:02, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think it's a good idea, just so long as it's kept neat and doesn't look too tacky. Maybe it would help if they were in alphabetical order. Alter  {T C B H } 16:37, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I agree, too. Maybe we should do that with the Zoras, too...? Dany36 21:51, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Feel free to do so, if you wish. My knowledge of OoT and MM begins to wane. Probably best if it's not me. ;) Alter  {T C B H } 21:58, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Erm, wouldn't that be Category:Gorons? I mean, that's a list of all named members of the Goron race, in alphabetical order. I don't see what we gain by duplicating the information here; surely a link to the category would suffice? User:Adam/sig 22:44, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Female Gorons

Are there any female Gorons in any zelda games? I don't think that they're in any game but I need to be sure. If you have any info on this topic please respond (Blackzuki! 19:10, 7 June 2009 (UTC))Reply[reply]

I think they are, but all Gorons refer to each other as brothers. - AtrumLevis  (My Talk Page) (My Contributions) 20:44, 7 June 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
