Template:Character Zeu is a character in the Twilight Princess manga by Akira Himekawa.

Biography

Before the events of the manga took place, Zeu lived in a city that guarded the border of a desert.[1] He would practice sword fighting with the other boys to defend Hyrule's borders.[2][3]

As his friends Link and Rioma train, he walks up to them and says they should stop for the day.[4] He laughs as Rioma complains about Link being difficult to fight because he is left handed,[5] the other youth stating he would do the same right handed against him.[6]

Zeu is shown again when Darpa takes he, Link, and Rioma to see the Gaurof Sword. Zeu watches as Darpa ignores Rioma's reminder that they have been told not to go near the sword by parents and teachers.[7][8] While Darpa's efforts to pull the Gaurof Sword out of its stone are proved to be in vain,[9] Zeu insults him.[10] Zeu observes as Link tries next.[11] Link succeeds, but he and the other boys, along with the entire city, are pulled into the stone with Link as the only survivor.[12][13]

In the second volume of the manga, Zeu, Darpa, and Rioma are shown when Wolf Link has a flashback about his younger days with his friends, feeling remorse that he and the others were not able to protect Princess Zelda as they trained for.[14]
