Water,(TWW | TMC | TP | SS)[1][name references needed] also known as Spring Water,(MM)[1] and Bottled Water,(HWL)[name references needed] is a recurring Item in The Legend of Zelda series. It can be scooped with an empty Bottle from bodies of water.
Location and Uses
Majora's Mask
Bottled Spring Water can be poured on Magic Beans to make them grow once they are planted in soft Soil in Majora's Mask. If Link lets Hot Spring Water cool, it will turn into plain Spring Water.[2]
The Wind Waker
Bottled Water must be used to restore the withered Bomb Flowers in Dragon Roost Island in order to enter the Dragon Roost Cavern in The Wind Waker.
The Minish Cap
Bottled Water must be used on sprouting beanstalk seeds at Mount Crenel in order for them to grow, allowing Link to climb them in The Minish Cap. Water can also be poured on fireplaces in Hyrule Town in order for Link to enter them while in Minish size.
Twilight Princess
Bottled Water can be poured on Pumpkins found at Ordon Village to make them grow in Twilight Princess. It can also be poured on small fires to extinguish them.
Skyward Sword
Bottled Water must be poured on the Frog statues found at the entrance to the Fire Sanctuary in Skyward Sword. Doing so extinguishes the fire barriers blocking the path forward
Other Appearances
Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland
Water can be gathered from various sources in the game, it's mainly used for dousing enemies on fire.
Hyrule Warriors Legends
In Hyrule Warriors Legends, Bottled Water appears as a Drink-type Food. It is imbued with the Water Element. When consumed by a Companion Fairy in the Dining Room of the My Fairy mode, Bottled Water can increase the Fairy's Trust level and personality traits.
Trivia
- In Majora's Mask, both regular Spring Water and Hot Spring Water can be used to remove Sun Blocks.[3][4]
