Toru Minegishi is a Japanese composer, and has been the co-composer of many Legend of Zelda soundtracks, usually under the leadership of main composer [[Koji Kondo]]. He joined Nintendo as a composer in 1999, and his first music contribution was for Pokémon Stadium for [[Nintendo 64]] the same year.

Minegishi was born around 1975 in Shibukawa, Gunma, Japan. He grew up in a musical family, with his parents especially fond of Latin and tango music. He became interested in video games when he was ten after he saw a commercial for The Legend of Zelda.[1]
