Hi, welcome to my user page. My name is The Goron Moron (was also known as The Rito Goron at Zelda Informer, and I'm a member of Zelda Universe and Zelda Wiki. I joined Zelda Wiki on November 11th, 2008.

I was also a hated member at Zelda Informer, although many of the people there would probably refer to me as a 'self-misunderstood person'. For a number of reasons, I have chosen to leave Zelda 'Inferior'.

I have been often mistaken for 'Goron Moron', a member of FF Shrine. However we are not the same whatsoever, it was just a mere coincidence that I just so happened to have chose the same name when registering on the Zelda Universe's forums.

I am one of the few people in the fandom who is a huge fan of Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages and Twilight Princess.

I also occasionally like to write stories or draw in my spare time. I have two drawn comics, hosted on the webcomic site Smacjeeves, of which I've been working hard on.

I also inspire to one day become a Zelda theorist. Although I still need practice and I still need to play and beat more games.
I am Midoro. That is all.

I am an avid gamer, and have many favorite game series. Some of my favorites include but are not limited to, Super Mario Bros. series, Pokemon, Creatures PC series, Rareware titles, Legend of Zelda, and plenty more. I am not just a Nintendo gamer, but I also play a few Xbox and PC games.

My first Legend of Zelda game was A Link to the Past for the SNES, which was given to me when a few cousins were visiting over and decided to give me a few of their SNES games, which also included ALttP. Although I didn't have much fun playing it as I was very little back then, I eventually learned to really enjoy it as I grew older. My second or third game (depending on when I rented Majora's Mask) was Link's Awakening, which remains to be my most favorite Zelda title. I also eventually gotten both of the Oracle games, although the files are somewhat corrupted by now, and loved the two games just as much. Both Link's Awakening and the Oracle games have made me the Zelda fan I am today.

I will also admit that I had never done the Linked Game quest in the Oracles games either, due to both of my Oracle games being somewhat corrupted in which they strangely freeze when I attempt to insert letters in lower case. The two Oracle games I own were once originally owned by a family with a couple of young kids. As such, who knows what they had did to these precious games...

My most recent Zelda title is Ocarina of Time from the Wii's Virtual Console. Currently playing.... several games.

The Rito Gorons Documentary
As I sat around in my small house in Kakariko Village, I had begun to notice how slow the days were being. I, a Goron who also happens to be a scholar on races, was bored of doing the same things everyday. Wake up in the morning, traveling to my old home Death Mountain, gather various things from the mountains, and return back to the village to deliver the goods to the shops. Traveling back and forth took much of my time and I never really did find enough time to do what I loved the most, being a zoologist - someone who studies animals, or races as it may be.

Yes. Heading into the mountains, going into the village shops and selling what I had gathered, and return home for some rest for the night. Only on rare occasions did I ever get to open my special journal, in which I wrote all sorts of discoveries. Most of my zoology studies were centered on Gorons, being a Goron myself and traveling daily to Death Mountain. Even then, I didn't have much time to talk to my fellow Brothers, for my day was always busy, busy, busy.

Eventually I found myself unable to stand it anymore. I had to get out of here, see the world, need a long deserved break. But it was easier said than done. Who would be the one to travel up the dangerous Death Mountain Trail to get the village's needed goods? The Gorons of Death Mountain too are busy with their lives at that time, and I was the one one in the entire village fit to scale the mountains. Still I did need a break, else I probably would have gotten insane. The other villagers seem to understand, but they still needed all the help they could get. Luckily for me on one of my trips to Death Mountain, I had finally decided to approach the tribe there and tell them of my tiredness, and how much I wanted to be out there and learn more about the creatures of the world. They too understood, and had actually offered that they would send a Goron of their own to deliver goods. I had a chance to finally go on a vacation, and I sincerely thanked them.

And so, my journey would soon begin. I knew several things about the species of New Hyrule. Everything from the Zoras to even the horses raised in Lon Lon Ranch. Granted I didn't know everything about them, but what I really wanted was to discover new beings. Long ago the world used to be flooded, but a legend tells that a Deku Tree had managed to expand land somewhere which eventually became New Hyrule. The Great Sea and its islands are still out there though. Since not a lot of folks from here have been there, my eyes sought out to explore the islands there, and hopefully make many new discoveries. With a small boat, with enough strength to support my weight among other things, I sailed off into the great unknown. Thankfully a strange man in green clothes had given me a sea chart. The price was worth it.

I long to see what The Great Sea is like. I also decided to bring my diary with me, where I will write every progress and discovery I make. But this diary isn't just for me, it is for everyone to read about the intriguing discovery that I am about to make. This is "The Rito Gorons Documentary".
Day 1
It was my first day in The Great Sea, having reaching it closer than I had imagined. It was just as I expected it to be, vast, home to many islands that
were distances away and simply breath-taking. Nothing in New Hyrule was ever anything like this. As I sat around in the small bow and looked in my sea chart, I knew that my first order of business was to sail to land, and soon. The Great Seas are calming, but they do have their fair share of monsters and common storms. If I was ever shoved off of my boat, that would be it. Although Gorons can survive without needing to breath whatsoever, I would have no chance of swimming back up to the surface.

There were many islands within this watery region. Any could do, but I'd rather find one that was more suitable for life where I can rest. From what that green man I met before said, Outset Island and Windfall Island would be perfect for me, and thankfully they were charted on my sea chart. However I was pretty far away from both islands, and it would probably take me a day or two to reach Windfall Island, which was around in the center of The Great Sea. But I did not want to spend much of my time sailing, yet I was still pretty picky about where I should set foot. But then I decided that I may as well go for Windfall Island and stop by any other island I should come across for the upcomming night.

As I sailed across more and more water, I suddenly got an odd feeling. Most of my travels involved nothing but water, something of which I was not very used to at all. With the wind beating against my sail, I began to think about how nice my home in Kakariko Village near Death Mountain was, even though it was a tad boring. As it would seem, I was starting to feel pretty homesick and seemed to be longing for someplace that had rolling hills and caverns, of which I had not seen in any island yet. I also began to wonder if any of my own kind inhabited these seas too.

But then suddenly I heard someone calling, with a deep Goron-like voice. Much to my surprise, I turned around and saw a fellow Goron on a raft. He wore a tall hat over his face and a white shirt. He was carrying a very large sack on his back, and that is when I knew that he was a merchant. Most likely a traveling merchant judging by his raft. He seemed pretty surprised to see another Goron too and asked if I was a traveling merchant as well, I replied no to him. Glad to finally encounter someone who I could talk to, I told him of my problem and showed him my sea chart. He replied that there was an island that 'I would probably like' just not too far away. He pointed up north and thanking him, I followed his directions.

Night was quickly coming, and I began to get a little worried of the Goron merchant. But he was probably alright, most likely more used to sea traveling than I was. I also began to wonder if I would reach there in time, as the rain started to come in. Still I had hope and pushed on. Another hour passed and the sky was completely dark. But when I looked up, there it was! But not just any island - an island with a tall mountain with smoke surrounding it. I could even see a few bomb flowers growing on the shorelines. The grin on my face grew wide, this place was just like Death Mountain! I pushed onward,
feeling relieved. My boat then stopped next to some rocky platforms, which I climbed on. Everything seemed so familiar, and I wondered if I would find any Gorons here. Climbing up the trail, I met several curious faces on the way.

These people were bird-like, many of them had wings and beaks instead of noses! I had never seen anything like them before! I politely introduced myself and explained why I was here, finally asking if I could stay or not. They took me to their leader, who explained to me that they were 'The Rito' and that this was Dragon Roost Island. They even told me a bit more of their postal service as well. They did allow me to stay here, and even said that another Goron was staying here as well but was away at the moment.

I decided to sleep outside, under the millions of stars that illuminated the ocean skies above, promising them that I would love to learn more about the island the next morning, and being a zoologist - I wouldn't mind learning more about them too. The night air was cold, but I was happy enough being near a place that reminded me very much of Death Mountain of New Hyrule. I hope to make many discoveries here, but my largest discovery is just around the corner...
