Dashing,(SS | SSHD)[1] also known as Sprinting (BotW) and Running Like the Wind,(TMC)[2][3] is a recurring ability in The Legend of Zelda series. With the exception of Tri Force Heroes and Breath of the Wild, it always requires Link to have the Pegasus Boots equipped.

Overview

A Link to the Past

Link's Awakening

The Minish Cap

Link can Run Like the Wind whenever he has the Pegasus Boots – obtained after waking up Rem with a Wake-Up Mushroom – equipped. Once Link has the Pegasus Boots, he can learn the Dash Attack from Swiftblade; if the other Item he has equipped is a Sword, Running Like the Wind will automatically make him perform a Dash Attack.

A Link Between Worlds

Skyward Sword

Tri Force Heroes

Breath of the Wild

Running Like the Wind is used to move faster and avoid enemy attacks in Breath of the Wild. It costs Stamina, and cannot be used if the Stamina Wheel is empty. If Link jumps during sprinting, he will jump more farther.
