The Water Rod allows the [[Links]] to create pillars of water that can be used as platforms, regardless of whether or not water is present. This item is used to reach heights that are too high for a normal Totem and to traverse expanses of water in order to reach an elevated platform on the other side. It can also be used to climb higher platforms, pushing all three Links up at once instead of leaving one to throw the other two. Template:Item The Water Rod is an item in Tri Force Heroes.[1]

Locations and Uses

The Water Rod allows the Links to create pillars of water that can be used as platforms, regardless of whether or not water is present. A water pillar equates to the same height of a full Totem, and spouts for a short time before disappearing. This item is used to reach heights that are too high for a normal Totem and to traverse expanses of water in order to reach an elevated platform on the other side. It can also be used to climb higher platforms, pushing all three Links up at once instead of leaving one to throw the other two. In the Abyss of Agony, the Water Rod's pillars can be used to turn water wheels in the Level's third Stage. In other Levels, the Water Rod can be used to push and propel things up, like Bombs or Octoroks, or to stun and reach enemies, like Keeleons or the Electric Blob Queen.

The Water Rod is introduced in the Secret Fortress, in which all three Links must use one. The item reappears in the Abyss of Agony, the Water Temple, Infinity Dunes, Dragon Citadel, and the Sky Temple. The Water Rod also appears in the Coliseum's Riverside and The Ruins arenas.

The effects of the Water Rod is improved while wearing the Torrent Robe. This greatly expands the radius of the Water Rod's pillars.
