Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

In Breath of the Wild, Majora's Mask appears as an Armor in The Master Trials DLC Pack. Obtaining Majora's Mask is the objective of the Side Quest "EX Treasure: Ancient Mask". The Mask is mentioned in Misko's EX Journal in the Outpost Ruins, while the Mask itself is hidden in a Treasure Chest at the Kolomo Garrison Ruins. After obtaining Majora's Mask, Granté will begin selling it for 50 Rupees.[note 1] Majora's Mask only offers 1 defense, but allows Link to approach multiple enemies, including Bokoblins, Moblins, Lizalfos, and Lynels, without provoking them to attack.[2]

Other Appearances

Hyrule Warriors Series

In Hyrule Warriors, Majora's Mask appears in the Majora's Mask DLC Pack as part of Lana's Skull Kid Clothes Costume. Majora's Mask also appears as an Item Card in the Termina Map from Adventure Mode, where it maxes out a Warrior's Special and Magic gauges for a single battle. Majora's Mask is also worn by the Skull Kid, who appears as a playable Warrior, and who also appears when Young Link summons the Moon during his Focus Spirit Attack. In Hyrule Warriors Legends, Skull Kid may also drop Majora's Mask as his Gold Material.

Notes

  1. Prior to the Version 1.3.3 Update, Granté would not sell any Armor that is exclusive to the Expansion Pass or The Master Trials DLC Pack. This meant that Majora's Mask could not be replaced if sold, which was noted in the description of the Mask.[1] The description of Majora's Mask was changed in the Version 1.3.3 Update as the Mask could now be replaced.[2]
