The Medical Clinic is a location in Twilight Princess. Situated in the Castle Town East Road, it serves as both the home and business of Dr. Borville, where he treats patients of their illnesses or other diseases. It is the only clinic in Hyrule Castle Town and serves as an important place in the plot to ultimately recover Ilia's memory.

Story

When Link receives the Invoice from Telma after having her Renado's Letter, he goes to deliver it to Dr. Borville at his clinic, who is blocking the path to the back portion of the clinic. After seeing the invoice, the doctor informs Link that he does not have the means to pay off his debt at the moment.[1] He goes on to say that if he had been able to sell the wooden statue that Ilia had left off, he would be able to give Telma the money; however, he spilled medicine all over the statue, which caused it to "stink awfully." Due to this, he was forced to let the statue dry outside, but unfortunately it was stolen.[2]

Dr. Borville then proceeds to go back to work, allowing Link to explore the clinic and push a box that was covering the Medicine Scent. By transforming into a wolf, the young hero can learn the new scent and follow it outside of the clinic to trace it back to Louise, Telma's cat, who will inform him that Stalhounds have taken the statue from her.[3]

But see, I accidentally spilled medicine all over that little carving, which made it stink awfully. I put it outside to dry...but then... Well, it was stolen.
