In Majora's Mask, the Zora Hall, situated in Great Bay of Termina, is the congregation place for the aquatic race known as the Zoras. The Zora Hall consists of vast caverns, and the entire complex is beneath the ground like many of their past domains. Here is also the gathering place for the popular Zora Band, The Indigo-Go's.

Overview

There are many chambers inside Zora Hall, including a room for each of the band members and a few others. Inside Lulu's room, a strange Deku Scrub resides, willing to trade items. Throughout the Zora Hall, there are torches that can be lit to make the stage light up. A sound system is also installed on the stage that echoes Mikau's guitar.

While in here, Link can learn much about the condition that has befallen Lulu, as well as the cause of why the ocean has been having abnormal weather. However, the only way to enter the band members' rooms is as Zora Link. To the west of the Zora Hall is an entrance that leads to the Zora Cape, which is where Lulu spends most of her time standing idly and gazing at the sea.

In one room, Link finds the room where Mikau used to live, and where Tijo can still be found; written in the deceased guitarist's diary is a chronicle on his sessions with Japas. Two portions of an experimental song are learned here. In another room, Japas himself is practicing with his guitar; Zora Link practices with him by playing the notes found in Mikau's Diary. Japas then says that Evan would never approve a song not written by him. Link, having a clever idea in mind, goes to Evan's room and, while turned into a form other than Zora Link, plays the entire melody from Japas and Mikau (including the notes played by the former). Evan, believing that none of the band's members is aware of that song, copies it and awards the young hero with a Heart Piece.

Trivia

  • In each of the band player's rooms, when Link approaches the musician in that room, the Zora will start playing a song from a Zelda game. Japas plays the dungeon theme from The Legend of Zelda, Evan plays the Game Over tune from the same game, and Tijo plays the cavern theme from A Link to the Past.
  • The theme for Zora Hall is the same tune heard in Zora's Domain.
