Main Characters
- Link – Link is the protagonist of the game and it is up to him to save Hyrule from the clutches of Vaati with the help of his talking cap, Ezlo.
- Zelda – Princess Zelda is the King of Hyrule's daughter and a childhood friend of Link.

- Great Butterfly Fairy - The great Butterfly Fairy of Minish Woods who provides Link with a larger wallet.
- Great Mayfly Fairy - The great Mayfly Fairy of Mount Crenel who provides Link with a larger bomb bag.
- Great Dragonfly Fairy - The great Dragonfly Fairy of the Royal Valley who provides Link with a larger arrow quiver.
- Percy - A poet who lives in Western Woods, but is too scared to return as Monster Lady has resided in his house.
- Nayru - A young lady who resides in the Happy Hearth Inn along with Din and Farore.
- Farore - A young lady who resides in the Happy Hearth Inn along with Din and Nayru.

- Gina - One of the few nice ghosts who lives in her grave in Royal Valley, who happily fuses Kinstone Pieces with Link.

- Eenie - A farmer who tends to the land of Eastern Hills, and is Meenie's brother.

- Gregal - A sick old man, who lives in the Cloud Tops. Curing him will give the curer a big reward.
- Romio - A young man who lives in Hyrule Town and plans to marry Julietta.

- Tina - One of the teachers at Funday School and twin sister to Dina.
- Dina - One of the teachers at Funday School and twin sister to Tina.
- Hurdy-Gurdy Man - He teaches Link how to fuse Kinstones.
