Ocarina of Time

Ocarina of Time

It is an instrument needed in Ocarina of Time alongside the Spiritual Stones and the knowledge of the Song of Time to open the Door of Time in the Temple of Time. The Ocarina is an instrument handed down by generations within the Hyrule Royal Family. The last of the Royal Family, Princess Zelda entrusted it with the boy from the forest, Link, to help him become the Hero of Time. The Princess throws the ocarina from Impa's horse into the Hyrule Castle moat when she and Impa are depicted fleeing the town, with Ganondorf in pursuit. With the Ocarina of Time, Link opened the Sacred Realm, allowing Ganondorf to break the Triforce into its three pieces.

The notes used by the Ocarina are as followed: A Button = D, Right C = A, Left C = B, Down C = F, Up C = d

Majora's Mask

In Majora's Mask, Link had the Ocarina of Time stolen from him by Skull Kid. On the night of the Final Day, go to the top of the Clock Tower for the first time and shoot a Deku Bubble at Skull Kid to get it back. Using the Ocarina, Link can reset the three doomed days to try and save Termina. When Link was using one of his transformation masks, the Ocarina would transform into a different instrument: Deku pipes as a Deku Scrub, bongos as a Goron, and a guitar as a Zora. These instruments still had the same powers as the Ocarina. However, the form you're while playing certain songs may change how people react to the songs you play.

A Link to the Past

The flute in A Link to the Past also bears a striking resemblance to the Ocarina of Time. The only power this flute posseses though is the ability to summon a bird to transport you around the overworld.
