Irch Plain is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Irch Plain is located in Hyrule Field between the Elma Knolls and Salari Hill. It is just south of the Salari Plain. A small marsh can be found on the southwestern side of Irch Plain, at the edge of which is a Wagon that can be searched for Gems.

During the "Silent Princess" Recovered Memory, Zelda and Link are seen taking Pictures of the Flowers on Irch Plain with the Sheikah Slate.[3] She then spots a Silent Princess, which she explains is rare and endangered.[4] Though she is visibly saddened, her demeanor changes when she notices a Tireless Frog nearby.[5] She informs Link that Hyrule Castle has been conducting research on ingesting them.[6] Despite not being in a controlled environment, she decides that Link would be perfect for the study, and she encourages him to eat the Tireless Frog that she has caught.[7] After Link receives the "Captured Memories" Main Quest, he can recall this Memory on Irch Plain.

One Korok Seed Puzzle can be found on Irch Plain. In the marsh on the south end of the Plain, there is a large Tree with a Rock on top of it. If Link picks up the Rock, it will be revealed as a Natural Hiding Spot, and a Korok will appear to give him a Korok Seed.[8]
