The Sand-Seal Rental Shop West Gate Booth,(TotK)[1] also known as the Sand-Seal Rental Shop Northwest Booth,(BotW)[2] is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.
Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
The Sand-Seal Rental Shop Northwest Booth is a Shop operated by Kohm in Gerudo Town. It rents out Sand Seals to the residents and visitors of Gerudo Town, which allow them to quickly traverse the Gerudo Desert.[3] Its sister shop, the Sand-Seal Rental Shop Southeast Booth is operated by Kohm's daughter, Frelly.[4] The Northwest Booth is marked by a large Sand-Seal Statue with the word "rental" written beneath it in Gerudo.[5]
Kohm charges Link 20 Rupees to rent a Sand Seal.[6] If Link does not have a Shield, Kohm will offer to include a Wooden Shield in the rental, though the price increases to 50 Rupees.[7] Due to the Sand Seals at the Rental Shop being trained, they are more obedient than their wild counterparts, as evidenced by the fact that they will not run away if Link dismounts from them.[8]
