"The Trial of the Mighty Foe" is a Quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]

Overview

"The Trial of the Mighty Foe" Side Quest appears for Monk Maz Koshia after the "Destroy the Yiga Clan!" Scenario has been completed. Words of light appear before the Warriors, and a voice tells them that they must pass the Trial of the Mighty Foe in order to access its power.[2] When the proper Materials have been offered, the voice will commend the Warriors and allow them part of its power.[3] As a reward, the Warriors will qualify for the Trial of Monk Maz Koshia.[4]

After "The Trial of the Mighty Foe", "The Trial of Monsters", and "The Trial of Stones" have been finished, the "Trial of the Ancients" Challenge will become available. This Side Quest also needs to be completed as part of "The Hope of Faron" Side Quest.
