"The Jewel Trade" is a Side Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Overview
After Link has freed the Divine Beast Vah Rudania from Fireblight Ganon, he can encounter the Gerudo merchant Ramella in Goron City. When Link speaks to her, she calls him bold for flirting with her in the middle of the day.[2] However, Ramella is disappointed if Link refutes this.[3]
Ramella explains that she is originally from the Region of Gerudo, and she came to Goron City to find Gems.[4] Since Death Mountain's eruptions have now stopped, she has begun restocking on Gems.[5] Ramella asks Link if he has any Amber, as she is in need of it.[6] If he brings her 10, Ramella promises pay him more compared to the usual selling price at stores.[7] This begins the Side Quest.
Once Link has 10 pieces of Amber, Ramella will ask him to sell to her,[8] offering him 500 Rupees as payment.[9] After Link sells to her, the Side Quest will be complete. From this point on, Ramella will offer to pay extra whenever Link brings her 10 pieces of a randomly chosen Gem.[10]
