"Mipha's Touch" is the tenth Recovered Memory in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Overview
"Mipha's Touch" is unlocked as part of the "Divine Beast Vah Ruta" Main Quest. While speaking to Muzu and Sidon in front of Mipha's statue, Muzu comments that Link clearly has no memory of Mipha.[2] Sidon counters that Link was always in Mipha's heart.[3] After this, Link will look up at Mipha's statue, which triggers the memory.
Mipha and Link are sitting together on the trunk of Divine Beast Vah Ruta, with Mipha using her Grace to heal Link's arm. She tells Link that this reminds her of when they first met, remarking that he was a reckless child who would always get hurt.[4] Every time he did, however, Mipha would always be there to heal him, just as she is now.[5] Mipha goes on the state that she thought it was funny how Link looked grown-up faster than she did, due to being a Hylian.[6] She tells Link that she was always willing to heal his wounds, though, even back then.[7]
If Calamity Ganon does return, Mipha wonders what they can really do.[8] She's discouraged by the fact they don't know much about it.[9] However, Mipha assures Link that if he is ever harmed, then she will be there to heal him, no matter the time or severity.[10] She then affirms that she will always be there to protect Link.[11]
Mipha expresses a desire for things to go back to the way they used to be, once Calamity Ganon has been defeated.[12] The memory ends with Mipha suggesting the two of them spend some time together.[13]
