The Goron Drums,[1] also known as the Drums of Sleep,[2] are an item in Majora's Mask.

Location and Uses

The Goron Drums are obtained alongside the Goron Mask after Link heals Darmani III's soul. It replaces the Ocarina of Time when Link is transformed into a Goron. In this form, Link must use them to learn the "Goron Lullaby" from the Goron Elder and his son in order to put the latter to sleep. By playing the song on the Goron Drums in Snowhead, Link can put Biggoron to sleep, allowing passage to Snowhead Temple.

Trivia

  • The Goron Drums existed as an independent C-Button item in the original Majora's Mask. Their icon was coded into the game but was not implemented in the final release.[3] It can be seen in certain pre-release screenshots. The item was later given its own icon in Majora's Mask 3D.
