Licensing

I don't like that this image was just assumed to be Public Domain—that's not how copyright works. The file is here on Wikipedia and listed as being under Creative Commons 3.0. This is strange, as the current image was uploaded in July 2012—considerably after this one—but it is listed as being created in June 2007 and that the uploader is the original author. Reverse image search indicates that the only usage of the image is here and on Wikipedia though. The exact situation may need to be sorted out here and on Wikipedia, but even if the original uploader is the creator, the image was technically uploaded licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License like all contributions to ZeldaWiki, as per Zelda Wiki:Copyrights. --SnorlaxMonster 18:07, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

Well this guy Maktesh's userpage is pretty similar to Alter's so I'm guessing they're either the same person or one copied the other (if anything, the dates imply that Maktesh copied Alter and not the other way around).

They were not the same person, actually, and I know that factually, considering that I worked with both of them at ZimP. Maktesh probably just sort of copied Alter's stuff.User:Justin ZW/sig 19:17, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
