The Earth Element is an Item in The Minish Cap.[1]

Location and Uses

The Earth Element is the first of the Four Elements obtained by Link, found within Deepwood Shrine in the Minish Woods. After defeating the Big Green Chuchu, Link obtains the Element and continues his journey to find the others. Once he has obtained the Fire Element, he travels to the Elemental Sanctuary in Hyrule Castle to infuse the two Elements into the reforged Picori Blade, turning it into the White Sword (Two Elements) and granting him the ability to split himself in two.
