The Dila Maag Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Dila Maag's Blessing,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine

Dila Maag Shrine is found by completing "The Desert Labyrinth" Shrine Quest. The Quest is activated when Link enters the South Lomei Labyrinth, he will hear the voice of Dila Maag instructing him to navigate his way through to the Ancient Shrine.[2]

As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by its Monk, Dila Maag, who states that merely being able to enter the Shrine is proof of Link's worth.[3]

Themes and Navigation

Dila Maag Shrine features no puzzles, simply a direct path to the Monk's Pedestal bearing Dila Maag. Along this path is a stone Treasure Chest containing the Barbarian Armor. When Link approaches Dila Maag, the Monk will give him a Spirit Orb as a reward for reaching the Ancient Shrine.[4] Afterwards, Dila Maag will wish Link well before fading away.[5]
